REDBOOK’s eVTOL module organizes and disseminated the rapidly developing dynamics of the eVTOL market with analytical features to simplify a complex landscape.
Each of the lead manufacturers is profiled to understand the company and the stage of development for the product it is launching with. Information about each product is presented where available to understand and compare the different design, performance, and configuration specifics for each of the leading aircraft. Proprietary or confidential information is not displayed but will be added as it enters the public domain.
With the rapid development programs currently in place the orders and customers for the types have been difficult to track and keep up to date with. The orders and customers section helps to graphically present and provide data for what is known about the current customer base.
Like any manufacturing process, relationships with suppliers and regulators are significant. All known supplier, development and regulatory relationships are identified, where available, to illustrate the complexity in bringing a viable product through certification and to market.
As with any new technology each manufacturer has proprietary tech which it is hesitant to disclose. Most of the tech in the eVTOL space centers around Battery Technology. Much like the electric vehicle market, eVTOL manufacturers are racing to develop high capacity, high endurance and rapid charge battery tech using a combination of anode and cathode materials as well as configurations to develop a high performance, stable and reliable power source for their products. What information is available is outlined here and what is not will be updated as it becomes available.
